My name is Lyla Schultz. I am the founder and owner of Lovey Duv Sugar Scrub. Throughout my childhood, I witnessed firsthand my close family members deal with serious skin conditions such as skin cancer and eczema. It was difficult to see them in such discomfort all the time. I started questioning why the products meant to soothe or moisturize their skin often seemed to make things worse.

As a curious and ambitious child, I vividly remember researching questions like, “Why does my sister have red, itchy skin?” and “What caused my nana and papaw to develop skin cancer?” This early desire to understand what happens every time we put something on our skin stayed with me. Now, as a 15-year-old entrepreneur, I’ve come to realize that many mainstream skincare products contain harsh chemicals and ingredients that not only irritate the skin but can also disrupt critical systems in the body, like the endocrine, hormonal, and immune systems, and may even contribute to long-term health issues.

That is why I created Lovey Duv, an all-natural, organic sugar scrub that gently exfoliates, deeply hydrates, and soothes all skin types. Along with being free from parabens, harsh chemicals, synthetic fragrances, and artificial dyes, Lovey Duv is dedicated to providing a healthier, safer alternative to conventional skincare, prioritizing transparency and creating comfort in the products that our customers use on their skin.
